    Hello
    New here
    Have a 2008 Prius
    Bought cheap

death triangle on dash I knew of

    anyway
Pulled traction battery and found my Voltage sense harness plug was burnt on 2-3 pins
CPU also had 2 pins missing.

    question …..

I’m thinking that would cause enough bad info to trigger the Warning along with the
Low volt/ AF and P0A80 code in the car..????

    make sense??
Also can these be repaired by electronic shop or new/used parts needed

    Thankyou

    Andy

I'm imagining you could probably find an electronic shop that could repair the pins in the ECU in question but the hour labor rate would be more than junk parts would cost you at a junkyard these cars are 20 years old now so the parts aren't really at a big premium anymore That's the reality of it You can find cars and people's side yards and get parts for near nothing or you have no time for that and you're at the mercy of some shop or whatever no that's another whole ball game.

Yes, corrosion on the wire harness and HV battery ECU pins can cause a P0A80 trouble code.

Buy a new voltage sensing wire harness from a Toyota dealership. Purchase a used HV battery ECU on eBay. Install both and see if it fixes the problem.
