Not that I speed much, but I wanted to hear/see how you have mounted your radar under the mirror. I am looking at the Rogue, Blendmount and Mirrormount options. Was the power harness for the mirror easy to get into with the mirror power tap? Anyone have experience/compared these brands? Pictures of your install would be greatly appreciated. Did the mounting position block your GPS acquisition? Thanks in advance.
I dont have an escort but a valentine one. I tried the blend mount that but it sat the radar too low to detect anything on the rear. It was in line with the spoiler on the back. Maybe with the c model or v it may work better. I mounted mine against the headliner using the visor clip. Not sure if escort comes with one. SCH-I605 ? 2
Also I wired it to the 12 volt from the cigarette light. That way it turned off and on with the car and not constantly on when wired to the dome light SCH-I605 ? 2
I like that mounting too. I would like that position if my mute button was located closer (attached to 12v in center lower console). Mounting the way I have it gives me easy access to all the buttons and view of the message screen. Thanks for posting.
