Is there a way to work around the navi insistence that the city I want to enter in the navi address book doesn't exist? I am trying to enter an address in Largo, MD into the the navi. I enter LAR and it shows three locations in PA, beginning with LAR. Maybe I can't get there from here? Thanks.

if it doesn't exists in the Navi database, I doubt that you can find anything even if you could type the name in. BTW, there's an option in the setup screen to disable auto-correction or something like that.

I had the same issue the first time I tried to enter my city, but somehow I knew San Jose, CA should exist.....discovered I had not selected a region, and the default was somewhere back east. Once I selected the right region everything worked as expected. Just in case that's your issue....

Thanks for the suggestion but I have selected the correct region. Largo, MD is a suburb of DC, and, like you, I know very well that it is there!! I even tried using Upper Marlboro, which is close to Largo but had a similar problem. Again it picks 5 places beginning with Upper and Marlboro is not one of them. The post office may be causing this because they refuse to straighten out their error over Largo. A long time ago, they changed the zip code but did not update their files. Don't we love bureacracy!!??tom
