I just swapped my 2014 prius engine with a used JDM Engine, it seems like the throttle calibration is off a bit. It seems to have the same power and feel as the old one, but the meter that goes from charge to eco to power seems to be higher than it actually is. Is there a tune or calibration that needs to be done to marry the depression of the gas peddle with the gauge?

I don't think so You may need to just drive a while and it will relearn all the pertinent business. Are you using the throttle body that came with the engine from the JDM market or did you swap over your US throttle body just curious we couldn't get out of JDM throttle body to work pretty much at all We had to swap it to the one that came with the car originally.

Try cleaning the throttle body and maf sensor. Do a redline fuel treatment as well.
