I've just put my Scangauge on and noticed that the running temperature is about 88C. I can't remember what my gen 2 was but I didn't think is was that high. Can anyone remind me what the temp of a gen 2 was.

    Thanks
    Gary

    My '05 normally ran ~ 82C. My Gen III runs 88 - 90 C.

I have been using a ScanGaugeII on my Gen3 for about 8000 miles. It seems to like to run between 188 (87C) and 194 (90C) when fully warmed up on the highway. The warmest I have seen it was 205 (96C) while climbing an 8% grade for about 15 miles.

I wish we had a way to check inverter coolant temperature and engine oil temperature as well.
