Hey Everyone, Prius owner for 12 years, and new owner of a Prius Prime. So I live in Canada and use the metric scale on the vehicle. I've noticed that the scale on the energy consumption charts is nearly useless. The scale is too small and so the chart is nearly always at the top. Same goes for the energy usage gauge next to the speed. I'm assuming this isn't broken if you use miles right? I can't seem to find a way to change it? Any ideas? Maybe Carista can do this? Other than this quirk, I'm absolutely loving this car.
I checked the same chart on MPG and although the scale choice is still a bit odd, it definitely is significantly more readable/useful than it is when in KM/H
Yup. Same. The scale is useless. The car is rated at 15.8kWh/100km as an average. Even in ideal temperatures, I’m topping out at 10.7-11.5kWh/100km which is still above the scale.
I noticed it is set to display every 1 km. Try setting it to every 5 km. It seems to use the highest value for top of graph and the difference per km might be too small. But the difference per 5 km might show more of of difference.
Thanks for replying! Unfortunately the scale is 0 to 10KW/h regardless of it it's 1km or 5km. It seems to me a better scale choice would have been 0 to 20 KW/h/100Km. Hopefully I can talk to someone at Toyota Canada about it. Would love to see a firmware fix for this.
