I want to fold down the rear seats. I understand I should start by elevating the headrests. The video I looked at claims there's a button to allow this to be done. The video says one thing while the actor is doing another, but I can't see what the actor is doing. I assume that the button to be pushed is different from the button to be pushed to allow the seats to be folded forward. Here is the video I looked at:

I hope one of you can help me. Best wishes to all!

There’s a low profile plastic piece, right by one of the head rest support shafts. It will slide in one direction; push it thus. Try pulling up on the headrest, release and again push that plastic piece, and eventually the headrest will lift. It’s totally unintuitive, takes a while. The centre head rest in particular is difficult.

This is viewed from the rear of the car...
There is a push button on each post. Press them and lift the head rest out.
I made a video, but PC tells me it's too big. 22mb! 17 seconds!

Thank you to both of you. I got the head rest on one side to lift, but not the other. When I went back to the one I had gotten to lift, I couldn't get to lift again. Of course, it's a 13-year old car. Fortunately, the items I want to put in the car do not require a flat back seat, but still it's a nuisance not to be able to lift the headrests. Thanks again!

Sometimes you just have to wiggle them as you lift and press both sides at the same time.
You might need another person to help.
Once they are out, you can clean them up...
You could also remove the back of the seat to get to them.

When they're most of the way up, but not out, you can also fold them forward (i.e., same as folding them down when the seatbacks are folded down), so they don't interfere with anything that requires the load space to be as flat as possible.

I keep my back seats folded down most of the time....I call my 2015 my little red pickup truck. ..Maybe I'm not understanding the problem, but to fold mine down I simply moved both front seats to their most forward position, then moved them back after I folded down the back seats. I didn't have to bother with the headrests that way. They are still in position with the seats folded down.
