    02 Model.
Replaced trunk battery with Toyota replacement in 2012. Car has 328k.
With key on, not running, pressing a power window button causes the screen to go white and start flashing wildly. Let off the switch and screen Is normal. Starts fine and battery has 325 crank amp like it should.
    Any clues please?

The 12V battery apparently is marginal and needs to be replaced. Or, refrain from using the power windows unless the Prius is READY, if you wish to defer the battery replacement.

Thank you for that. I thought the same but its a 3 year old replacement. Ouch! I the Optima yellow top a good choice in your opinion?

Well - there have been several recent posts from Optima battery owners who were less than thrilled with 1) the new battery arriving in a partially-discharged state, and 2) the longevity of the battery being less than the marketing hype.

If you decide to buy an Optima I suggest you buy from a local reseller so that the battery warranty can actually provide you some relief in the event you need to file a warranty claim.

You could also try charging the existing 12V battery to see whether that helps, or not.
