Featured Electric cars now over 1% of Vancouver vehicles

    They’re including BEVs, PHEVs and FCEVs in their calculations. It may reach 1% province-wide by B.C. Day (first Monday in August) which would make for a nice news story.

    I would’ve thought one of the Québécois cities would hit that first.

    Not surprised.

    Gasoline is expensive and electricity is dirt cheap in the BC/Pacific Northwest region. Its also primarily coming from (relatively) green hydropower, so its a bit of a win-win.
