ECO Score Question w/photos

    So.....I never register any yellow blocks (squares) on the bottom car pic with the arrow down which I am assuming is deceleration while I'm driving - BUT - when I shut the car off - it registers, why?

    The deceleration blocks only show when you come to a standstill. Then they all reset again as you start moving. Each time you come to a stop it will show the deceleration blocks for that stop.

    Eco guide, keep your acceleration within the blue line for best economy.

    Of course you'll get better fuel economy if you don't accelerate as hard, but I don't get the point. I'll use what ever amount of acceleration I need to get up to the speed of traffic or go from a stop light.:confused: Does the car program itself to get better fuel econ if you're within the blue line?
