using the existing lcd screen can you somehow install a dvd player headunit and have it be displayed on the already existing lcd? am getting interested in making some custom stereo changes and want to know what i can and can not do.

Yup, just buy yourself a portable dvd player (unit only w/out the screen), get coastaletech's video controller and you're set!
