I'm curious if you can play a dvd to only listen to the audio and not watch the video while driving on the advanced package plug in? In another post, I read that you can't play the dvd unless the car is not moving and the parking brake is on. Mostly I would like to know, because I have several dvds of lectures, that I would like to listen to while driving. Thanks
It should. Both my 2008 Sienna and 2012 HyCam just cuts off video on the Nav screen when you disengage the parking brake.
Yes you can. I was listening to a DVD movie while in motion just fine. It just shows a blue screen with a sign through it for video, but the audio plays without a problem.
Thanks - one more question- while you are listening to the audio of the dvd, at the same time, can you also use the Nav to get directions to a destination? Thanks bunches
