Great move. You are going to save over 5,000 gallon of gas. $3 per gallon, you are looking at $15,000.

I know how you feel, I just dumped a CRV Honda in favor of a Prius. I haven't stopped smiling. H

What was your motivation to do so, was it strictly MPG?

It was for the towing capacity of the Prius. ;)

You used to be the kind of guy I always kept around as a friend.
When I need to haul things I can't fit in the Prius, I borrow a friend's truck and return it will a full tank and a case of beer. I don't mind topping off one tank knowing that he's paying for all the others all year 'round.

Congratulations! I bought a 2010 Prius and kept my 2007 Honda Ridgeline. I still needed a truck... living in the country with two wolfdogs and two German Shepherds. (I just keep the truck parked until I have to use it.) I've owned a Tundra too and both the Tundra and Ridgeline can suck some gas!

I did too ... miss my Tundra and sitting up high above most other cars and trucks, but the fuel economy is WONDERFUL ! Fill up for twenty dollars ! Welcome aboard .. mine is a 2009, enjoy the new generation .. it should be fun.

Something I'm concerned about as well.. I love being "up" in my Frontier.. I'm wondering how I will adjust to being "down" in a car again...

I kept my van for a couple of years after buying the Prius. Eventually I realized that the van wasn't getting used enough to keep it running well. I sold the van and bought a small trailer for the Prius.
