DTE (Distance to empty)?

    Did anyone who played w/ the trip meter display in the 2010 Prius notice whether a distance to empty feature was added?

    I believe one of the lower-left corner features provides that.

    Just for old time's sake, they will use a random number generator to wiggle around this figure. With the removal of the tank bladder they had to find a synthetic way to introduce uncertainty.

    As long as it's pseudo-random, we have a fighting chance.

    In all seriousness, I think DTE was impossible on the bladder tank due to variability.

    I'm going to "look forward" to getting 10+ gallons in when I'm at 1-2 pips again. The '02 is great on capacity consistency, DESPITE it's bladder. I can't fathom what changed in the 2nd gen to make it so much worse.
