Dropped USB Drive Under Gear Stick

while i was running my rca and remote from the dash to under the passenger seat, i switched usb drives. unfortunately i dropped one where the cup holders would have been. it slid under gear shift/e-brake area, i cannot fit my hand in there.

has anyone completely removed the center console? any tips/tool suggestions for getting the usb drive out?

the only thing i have come up w so far is to use a small amount of butyl rope on the end of a hanger or something similar to blindly reach in there and hope i make contact w the usb drive.

no dice, i think it may be brass?

i swear i heard the magnet touch it...
