Does anyone know the part# for backlit Door Lock Switch?

I’ve posted a history of the part numbers, but I don’t know for sure how they differ.

 

I don't know the parts number, but are you talking about the door lock switch panel on the driver-side door? The red arrow in the photo is from 2020 PP LE when I took the panel off to wrap it.

 

I think OP wants the driver's side lock switch to be illuminated like the passenger side switch. I would also be interested in this modification. I assume they're interchangeable?

 

In my 2020 PP LE, I don't remember if it was illuminated with a blue LED or not, but my photo looks like the switches do have LED embedded (red arrows). Or is he talking about the illumination on the master lock (blue arrow)? I no longer have the car. I can't check how those light up. Did these switches change to no LED in 2021 PP?

 

The door lock/unlock switch. On the passenger side it's illuminated and on the driver's side it's inexplicably not lit.

 

OK, is the light where the green arrow is pointing in the photo? And this no longer exists in the 2021 models?

 

No. The actual lock icon is lit on the passenger side. I'll take a picture when my zoon meeting is over.

 

Humm, I must admit, I have never paid that much attention to any of the switches. I can't remember if they were lit on either side on my 2020 and 2017 PPs.

 

It drives me crazy when I'm dropping people off at night and I need to unlock the doors. I have to turn on the dome light to see the switch.

So, 2020 and earlier PP had this illuminated lock on the driver's side? Again, I don't remember how it was (or was not) lit on my 2017 and 2020.

 

I don't think the driver's side was ever lit. I don't know about the passenger side because I never rode on that side of the 2018.

 

If it wasn't lit in older models, then why does OP thinks there are parts that available that will have LED inside??? Now, I am confused.

 

Because the passenger side is lit. Are they not interchangeable? If not, how much modification is necessary to make them fit?

 

Driver side and Passenger side door lock buttons are not the same size as shown in my photo on comment #4. Besides, the Driver side switch is a multiple switches panel including a power window lock and four windows open/close and it has a totally different lead connection IIRC.

 

I hadn't noticed the size difference. That's a disappointment. I wonder how difficult it would be to get the driver's door button illuminated.

 

Order the same part for 2020 PP model year, it will work.
