A friend in our local Prius group just shared a link to a Prime battery ECU for $10 and I'm wondering if the problem with corrosion in Gen2 & Gen3 ECU (likely regional issue) is also a problem with prime? We've been having discussions about stocking up on Gen2 battery ECUs because they used to be easy to find used parts for $50 and price has recently doubled. Thoughts?
I've never heard of it happening yet. But they are all still pretty new. But for $10, if it's in good shape, how could you go wrong?
