Do I need to go to a Toyota dealer to flush/replace the brake fluid?

I searched for the answer to this, but couldn't find exactly the right one. The dealerships are so far away from me. I know it needs to have the Techwhateversomething, but if I informed a decent mechanic of that, is there a danger in having someone other than at a Toyota dealership do it?

    Thank you!

If the decent mechanic will take the time to research the brake flush procedure on techinfo.toyota.com then there won't be a problem. If the mechanic thinks that because he has 30 years of automotive experience that no new learning is required on his part, then you'll have a problem with the outcome.
