Found a single hit of this question from a question in 2007, but no responses.

My MFD (Multi Function Display) icons are displayed for all the screens correctly, but the actual touch points are skewed beneath the icon (i.e., I have to touch the screen 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch below the icon in order for it to respond).

Does anyone know if there is a 'dispay' or 'grid' correction that the user can do to fix this condition or is this something that must be corrected by the dealer?

    Thanks
    Chris

Hi Chris. I think there is a "tuning" program I saw once, but I can't remember the procedure. I'll look, but the dealer should be able to fix it too.

there was a calibration function, but for the life of me, i sure can't find it, when i try to go to it all i get is a white screen

    press "on"
    press "display"
press the upper left and lower left corners 6 times
this will bring up the system check screen
press "menu" on right upper corner of screen
    from the "diagnosis menu"
touch upper left and lower right
this will bring up the "product diagnosis screen"
the calibration is supposed to be there, but i can't figure it out
    good luck

don't mess around with the eprom.ram or any of that other stuff

turning the car off or holding the display button for 3 or more seconds should exit out and bring you back to your normal prius mfd screen

My display is so skewed today, I can't get into the diagnostic screen any longer (nor can I select an option on any of the screens where the touch icon is located near the bottom of the MFD...!) I have one sick display.

Thanks for all the assistance. Might be paying a visit to the dealer to get this guy corrected.

If my memory serves me correctly, you can hold the ODO / TRIP button while turning the headlights on / off 3 times in succession. Hope this helps.

isn't that for resetting the maintainaince light or seatbelts/reverse beep?
i thought it was flashing the headlights and holding down info or display
