Well you can't believe everything you read but it seems Toyota is due for redesign of current Camry. The 2023 Camry has not had a design change since 2018, so the timing seems right for for a new model to surface. What I find interesting is that many articles I've read claim the (future) newly designed 2024 Camry will look like the redesigned 2023 Prius. And the new Camry will have a Hybrid motor and also a Plug-in.

If such is the case Toyota might see some potential buyers of 2023 Prius Hybrid/Prime hold off buying, if say in ten to fifteen a new Camry comes out - looking like Prius big brother. With improved interior and more cabin space a new Camry could be a Big Seller. Only time will tell but I think in two to three months Toyota comes out with news that if offering a completely redesigned Camry for 2024 year. Question is will it a Prius Prime on steroids?

I don’t believe any of those things.
Camry still still sells well. They will make some design changes like they always do, to try to compete with accord.
No way on plug in, they don’t have enough batteries for rav4 and Prius primes as it is

Don't know about battery shortage but "talk on the street" is leaning more towards a 2023 Prius look verses bigger Crown.

Styling, maybe, but "prius on steroids" I doubt it. If anything it will share the same powertrain as the RAV4 hybrid. Doesn't make sense for them to design a whole new engine/hybrid set up for a dying segment (mid-size sedan). It will also likely feature a trunk instead of a hatchback, which makes it less practical imo.

it will definitely have a trunk, which we love for travel. no need to hide everything from crooks when overnighting at a hotel

And here’s our’24. Not much different from our’13, but the trunk is larger, which is great.
A lot more annoying electronics to deal with.
