So I just had my 2014 Gen 3 (184,000 miles) in the shop to have the water pump/thermostat and purge valve replaced, as well as an inverter coolant flush. The car had overheated a few times but only at high speed on the hwy, he told me it was a bad water pump with a P148F (water pump over revolution). It had also thrown a P0455/ P0441 at one point (evap system leak/incorrect purge flow), hence the purge valve replacement. Anyway, I start the car up to drive home once they completed the work and I’ve got the yellow triangle and “Check Hybrid System” indicator on dash (never once had that come on with this vehicle). He plugs in the scanner and it shows 12v battery is low voltage, as well as a few A/C inverter codes (B1473, B1474, B1498). Replaced the 12v battery and “Check Hybrid System” remains as well as B1474 A/C Inverter and now a P0AA6. Any idea what they could have done to drain the battery, possibly damage the inverter, etc to result in these codes? Error in install or faulty parts? He got upset when I insinuated they somehow drained the battery and he said he was not buying me a new one (never once had an issue w/ battery despite it being older). Any thoughts are appreciated, TIA

A lot of inexperienced shops will leave accessories on not realizing the fragile nature of the battery since most cars can handle the drain.
They may have misconnected positive and negative which can damage the inverter or just the fuse if you’re lucky

This is why I just keep it home and I have other vehicles to drive and I'll get to it when I have time because this can happen real easily and now raspberry. Really blows I would say first thing to do is get the battery charged up to stuff and make sure off the charger if it's an AGM battery like we supposed to have in this car it should sit at 12:05 easily an hour after it's been off the charger or something like that and then if you have the old Lisle tester clamp it up and swing the button for the appropriate seconds and tell me what it says on the dial should show your cold cranking apps almost to a t that stamped on the top of your battery 425 something

Where the water pump/thermostat work was done is close to the A/C compressor. Maybe they had the orange cable disconnected there at some point (to be out of the way maybe) and didn't reconnect it well? Or just splashed a bunch of coolant over the compressor?

Come to think of it, the work on the purge valve could have had them working close to the other end (inverter end) of that cable.

It would help to know the INF code for the P0AA6.
