Did you name your Prius c?

I call mine little brush. My wife calls it little mop.

 

I named mine Skylis

I have a 2012 Prius C 2 (moonglow). Living and driving in the
Mohave desert, Icall my Prius C - Roadrunner.

I have worked in Insurance Claims all my adult life. I have seen my share of fatalities and catastrophic losses. But I recently handled a simple no injury auto accident claim. The person named her car. When I called the shop and found out that it was not repairable, it really hit me. I had to tell the owner her driving friend was gone. I guess I am a big baby when it comes to cars getting Totaled. I never cried at Demo Derby. But I guess I will have to avoid them for now on. . (Sigh)

 

It's about that "personal" touch. You don't get emotional at DD because you aren't attached. I named mine Pepper Bomb.

I've owned 162 cars in 60 years and every one got a name, some repeatable. Most, except the racers, are self naming: as is the Prius c - self named 'prissy', as in "you taking the mclaren or the prissy"? And everybody knows exactly which one I'm in with my answer. And make no mistake, 'prissy' is as revered as Mclaren.

 

How very appropriate for a Prius person to be familiar with Sanskrit

Interestingly enough, the car conjured a similar mental image; but I used a Slavic word Mila, with roughly the same meaning. So, her full name is now P. "Pleasantly Plump Mila" Toyota.

We have a White 2014 Prius C we call "Percy", or "Percival" if we want to be formal.
Kind of a shortened way of saying Prius C, like if you say it fast.

 

On a related (somewhat .. tangentially ...) subject: what are Prius people called, or should be called? Priusites? Priunauts? Priusoids? Priusists? Priussers? Perhaps I should start a new thread with this ...
