As title says, is there any checklist with forum members that I can use to go over to make sure everything is in place before I take delivery of my 2016 Prius Four?

TOYOTA have one they should give you - I think it was in the service book.

Don't recall where I saw the list, but there's a huge number of checks the dealer is supposed to do when they receive the vehicle. I wonder if they actually do anything more than just wash the car, and spruce up the interior a bit? (Remove plastic, tags, etc.)

As for us, the buyer, I'm kind of picky. (It's the last car I'll ever buy, and I wanted everything to be exactly right.) Before I even signed any papers I inspected every inch of the outside of the car. Then the engine bay, oil level, visibly check fluids, look in the trunk to make sure the tools/spare/cargo cover/floor mats are there.

Then I sat inside, and turned everything "on" that I could. Checked all the window switches, door locks, all the lights, turned on the radio and the AC. Headlights/brake lights. Made sure all the screens on the dashboard lit up. My first Prius, so I couldn't do much more beyond that. I didn't yet know how to scroll thru all the screens, Nav, etc. But at least I felt better after doing the basic checks. (The salesman left me alone during this time.)

After I drove it off the lot, my first stop was a nearby gas station to check/adjust the tire pressure. Some prep guys neglect that. Good luck, and enjoy your new car.

Our dealership missed the spare tire (if equiped) pressure. It's a bit of a pain to check; the tire has to be pulled right out.

Also. (at least on 3rd gen, maybe still) there's a couple of oblong holes in the underside, near the rear scissor jack points, that are supposed to get rubber plugs. The holes are apparently for locking pins used when the car's in transit.

Should be part of the process when you pick up the car. I had to sign my checklist sheet saying it looked acceptable to me...and I did after a thorough walk around and look see inside.

I just took my sweet time. I told the salesman to leave the "Fob" with me, and go inside. He did. So I sat out there for an hour, trying to decide if I really wanted to buy the "White Knight". 27K is a HUGE amount of money for this old dude... the most expensive car ever... and I wanted this Prius to be the last car I buy.

Now 6 months later, I'm glad I did. A few minor gripes aside, it's a great car (so far.) But, I still wish I had waited a few months longer, and rented a 2016 for a week. And also the prices are much better now.

Is this what you're looking for? I found mine under the passenger seat after I got home.

Hmmm, no specific mention of tire pressures or headlight alignment, two things I personally discovered. Maybe they are sub items under "safety inspection".
