My wife and I purchased a used 2005 Prius the other day, and so far we love the thing.

However, it didn't come with a user's manual (gonna get my hands on one soon, and if anyone knows an easy way to get one, that'd be appreciated!).

I've been trying to figure out how to delete all the previous owner's memory points in the system. I haven't been able to figure that out.... or how to program "new" points into the presets at the bottom of the destination screen, since the previous owner's Memory Points (the little blue flag icon) are full.

I'm not an uber-computer-geek, but I'm fairly tech savvy...but I have no clue how the hell to get rid of these locations. Please help, i'd like to make this Prius mine in ALL of its aspects, and get rid of the directions to the previous owner's friends and favorite locations!

    Hello

Go into the NAV system, then touch the Menu button on the right of the MFD, then touch the My Places button on the screen and you will see your choices. You can delete all points including Home, or you can select individual points to delete.

    Welcome to PriusChat.

Take a look here - John has compiled a ton of Prius info
    http://john1701a.com/

click Prius Info (on the left) then when the dropdown appears, click User-Guide H
This will get you much of the same info (as a word document that you can save on your computer, print out, etc).

There are two owners manuals for the '05 with the navigation system. One for the car and the second for the navigation and bluetooth systems.
