Is anyone else experiencing a one or two second delay after answering the phone when using BT with the Nav system before the caller can hear you? I'm using an iPhone.

yep - it's a known problem that has been discussed in other threads. I'm not aware of a fix.

I also have that issue, with a Motorola RAZR.

I have the same problem and its really annoying.

Seems like the more you pay for a Toyota Navi system, the less features you get.

Yep I thought it was related to the WiFi problem but it's not. Even with WiFi turned off this still happens.

Same issue here, and I've had the issue with the original iPhone and the '07 Camry Hybrid, all 3 generations of iPhone with an '08 Highlander Hybrid, and the 3G and 3GS with my Prius.

Cpatch, Another yes vote. Oh wait, you weren't asking if we wanted a delay . . . Yes, I have a iPhone 3GS and I figured the delay was a combination of BT & cell signal with no solution. Just about like calling and talking cell to cell. --TK

Do you use an iPhone? I remember a delay in the Camry, but it could have been the way my work line gets patched over to my cell phone.

Yes - I've used 2g, 3g and 3gs in the hycam. If there's a delay, it's not nearly as bad as in the 2010 Prius.

The NAV in the Prius in general is Slooooowwwww. It seems to take forever to type is a street name, as you wait for the system to select what next letters it will let you type in.:(

I saw in the Setup for Navi that there's something called auto complete address names, you could try turning that off and see if it helps. I think with it on it does a lookup how many addresses matches what you've typed

At least 5 seconds for the caller to hear me on my Blackberry 8830. I suspect a Bluetooth stack problem introduced with the A2DP streaming feature.

I used both a RAZR and an iPhone 3G in my 2007 with no problem. In the 2010, though, the iPhone 3G (both before and after updating OS to 3.0) has a "delay" when answering. As far as I can tell, the handsfree answer will not happen until after there is a sound. In other words, in other words, I need, I need, to repeat, to repeat, my greeting, my greeting.

    No . . . No . . . Problem . . . Problem.

It appears as though it is BT lag.

Noticed that too. I guess you just have to get used to it and start speaking after 3 secs at least.

Yep. When I answer a call I tend to just wait three second before even saying and hoping they don't hang up.
