Looks like the battery on my 2003 Prius is drained. I may have left a light on last night.

I have a few of questions.

    1) How do you jump start a Prius?
    2) If the battery is dead, what brand/type of battery is recommended?
    3) Is the car battery related to or connected to the drive train battery? Is there any chance that it's actually some problem with the large battery?

    Thanks

    1) Jump points under the hood as explained in your owner's manual. Alternately you can jump to the battery, but that requires you to crawl into the back and manually release the hatch.

Be very, very careful to not reverse the polarity. Thousands of dollars worth of damage will occur instantly if you do.

    2) Yellow top Optima. Many other threads explain this in detail.

    3) No, and no.
