i would like to use daytime driving lights (as in canada) on my 2007 with normal headlights. i suspect that it is a "progammable" feature that either i or the dealer can do. any thoughts?

Well, you could just leave the headlights on. The Prius has AUTO-OFF linked to the driver's door.

Our DRLs uses the low beams anyway and they're bright enough, I could probably (if I wanted to) run them with the taillights on and no one could tell if I was running DRL or full low beam. (Makes you wonder why reduce in the first place if it's so bright... my Dad's Camry's DRL uses the high beam and it's much dimmer than the Prius')
