I swear I have looked for a preference or some kind of setup but I can't seem to find a way to be able to see the date of each posting within a thread. That can be critical to finding current versus older posts in a thread.

Am I blind or is there a way to turn it on?

    Cheers

    Rees

JD's right but tiny gray type is hard to see.

Thank You, Gray Type sucks. It would be nice to darken it up a bit, also the Blue Thread titles are hard for some of us to read, thankfully once you are into the thread, it back to Black!

It invariably takes me about 5 seconds to find that small, grey date notation. The old setup was easier in that regard.

Well folks, I found it. But it is all but invisible. I wish it was just plain black print like all the other text. Thanks guys for the heads up. Really appreciate it.

Whooo, hoooo. I found a way to deal with this issue. There is a Firefox plug-in called nosquint which converts those grey text to any color you want. Of course I changed mine to black. Now I can see everything on this site again.

    BUT

Alas there is nothing for free. Now the area at the top (naturally, in the black area) which turns all those white text to black making those text disappear. But if you put your mouse up there it will still show up and pull down menus, etc.

It's a good work around for seeing all the text in the forum but at the price of having to know the limitations at the top of the page. Reading the forum again is a dream. Everything is again so clear. Whoever dreamed that grey text was a good thing needs a good spanking.

    Cheers

Does anyone think I should create a separate thread for this solution so others with the same problem get to see how to fix it? Otherwise, only those interested in the plug-in and specifically in this thread will see it. But where would I post it? Any suggestions?

It might be hard-to-read grey, but it's in a big blue box so it's easy to find.
