Dash light dimmer

G'day from down under.

I have a very strange problem with my 2012 Prius C i-Tech (I live in Australia) I believe this is the 3 or 4 in the US?

I don't seem to have a dash dimming switch like on all the google searches I have conducted. I tried searching here for a similar thread with no luck. Can anyone shed a light on this, am I missing something? is it hidden deep inside a menu somewhere?

I tried looking this up in the owners manual and it shows a dimmer switch in a location but the switch is not there on my car. I looked at other cars that are for sale and the switch is also not present on those cars where it says its supposed to be.

Did Toyota miss something here? Any help would be greatly appriciated.
