I have read there is a dash dimmer, for adjusting the brightness of the speedo etc. I have a 2007 UK spec Tspirit but for the life of me I can't find it. Was it included on the UK spec model? If so where is it?

No it's totally different for the UK T-Spirit, and yes, it is in the manual. It should be the right most button under the MDF, and it has two jobs. It has a symbol on it that I think is supposed to look like a speedometer. Job one is dimming the dash and MDF -- quick presses. This only works when the headlights are on. Job two is toggling the speedo display between km/h and mph for use in Eire and Europe -- press and hold for about 2 secs. hope this helps.
I wish there were separate dimmer controls for the head unit. I know the brightness can be set in the menus, but a separate knob would actually be convenient.
