The following thread (among others) started by kenworthey reports on a potential expensive CVT repair: http://priuschat.com/page-2-t8207-s20.html The last post to any of the threads related to this problem is June 2 and I cannot find anything about how the issue with Toyota was ultimately resolved. I PM'd kenworthey but have not yet received a response. Does anyone know hat happened?
There was a similar case at the same time, involving "milliqat"; it is my understanding that both resolved by sharing costs with Toyota. Last week there was a new "case" posted at Yahoo toyota-prius, but no followup on that one yet.
