I wanted to be able to tow my Kendon trailer with my Prime, so I installed a Curt hitch. It was pretty straight forward. I did make a couple of 8mm locating pins to help with the install. I didn’t have a helper. 3F655BBA-228E-49D0-8EBF-8A909A773426.jpeg

I installed it along with the Curt wiring harness. It fits tight and high, out of the way.

I purchased 3 different Curt ball mounts, before I got the right ball height combination. I ended up using the straight ball mount and the top of the ball ended up 18” from the ground. The trailer bed is 1/2” higher in the front. Almost level. I did a road test around town and down the freeway. With the trailer unloaded, I can barely tell it’s back there. The ball mount does rattle in the hitch, which is startling and annoying. I haven’t yet figured out what I’m going to do about that.
