Ijust got the following notification from Chargepoint regading my 2014 PiP: Your vehicle has accepted 6.81 kWh of electricity and has been plugged in for 02:25:27 (hh:mm:ss). I thought it the PiP has a 4.4 kWh battery?
Someone must be monkeying around with the Chargepoint plug (like moving it to another car). A full charge on the PiP is 2.75-3.0 kwh from the wall (which is what Chargepoint is reporting).
I thought that 3.0 kWh sounded appropriate, and consistent with all of my other charges. According to the admin page, it didn't show a drop in power across the charge or cut off.
I used a chargepoint station and locked the charger onto the PIP. Never thought about someone trying to plug it into another car and take advantage of my already active plug....until now. I wonder when Chargepoint deactivates their station...when no electricity flows for some default period of time or when the plug is returned to its home unit.
As soon as you unplug, the station terminated the session. I've confirmed it. I've also tried multi-hour pauses without issue. They have already considered all the scenarios we've thought of.
