    138,000 miles on it.

Currently using this vehicle for rideshare and food delivery, so lots of stop and go.

The cruising range city after pump the gas is about 416 miles wich means about 35 MPG.
For those who have this vehicle, can I improve the MPG or it is just the vehicle aging?

    How do you figure that?

Don't assume that is figured with the claimed fuel tank capacity, because it isn't. Several gallons are set aside as safety margin, and not counted towards the displayed range. To get a "distance to empty" of 416 miles, its recent history must be getting over 40 mpg.

The true way to compute MPG is to compute it from fuel refills. Keep a fuel / odometer log.

Short of that, use the trip odometer MPG display, and remember that it is a bit "optimistic". E.g. subtract 5%, give or take several %.

Beware that that post was written for new drivers of new cars, so doesn't cover old-car problems such as dragging brake pads and many others.

    Thank you.
Yep, I just mention the dash info after pump the gas. I was also looking for any thoughts about how to improve the MPG based on the current vehicle tires and city food delivering.

well, if you're getting good mileage, there may not be much more you can do.

one major item on gen 3 is the egr circuit

It's dead, you should sell it to me for cheap...(y) jk! Maybe air up tires, check the HV battery health with the Dr. Prius life expectancy test and go from there. Also always drive far enough to warm up the engine fully and no short trips if possible.

17” tires and “lots of stop and go” both likely factors.

    This is calculated mpg?

I second the EGR cleaning, not so much for mpg, but for engine preservation. It’s overdue. See first two links in my signature (on a phone turn it landscape to see signature).
