What happens in Cruise Control mode when going down a steep hill? IOW, I know that the regen mode will be activated, but I'm wondering if the speed is further controled by how much regen is "used" (IOW, how much load is allowed on the gen) and when the battery is full, will the electric brakes be applied to control downhill speed?

And, what about that "B" position on the shifter. Does that increase the regen load, or just engage the ICE?

    Thx.

You use the B position when you're going down a long hill and don't want to use the brakes. It's like downshifting into a lower gear.

As far as I know, you'll just get the regular amount of "coasting" regen that mimics an normal ICE compression drag. If the hill is steeper, you'll go faster.

TONS of info about this on the forums. A search will turn much of it up. I point most folks to Hobbit's page on the subject here: http://techno-fandom.org/%7Ehobbit/cars/b-mode.html

Yeah, but is the "B" truly using the ICE for resistance, or is "B" adding regen load above what coasting would do?

I see you have the NAV enhancment kit. How do you like it, and how long have you had it?

    Thx.
