Hi everybody! Took my new to me 2013 Prius Persona on a 900+ miles roadtrip yesterday and used cruise control most of the time. I was just wondering if the cruise control lever is illuminated/backlit or not? It is not in the Persona and I found myself hitting the turn signal lever instead when I want to cancel or resume. I had to turn on the overhead light to see the damn thing. On our 2015 Highlander, the CC lever is illuminated/backlit.
I had to look at your profile after reading your post, and couldn't believe you are only 40. What you described in your post, I thought you were about 80
You'll get use to the location after awhile and the controls will become intuitive. Obviously, this is your first Toyota ( at least with cruise control). Give it a few more minutes of drive time.
Yes, illuminated is pretty neat that's why I asked. I was worried that maybe the one on the prius was broke or something.
May I dig this up to ask about the other two stalks? Are they also not illuminated? I'm a fresh 2010 Prius owner and only drove in the dark a couple of times until now. Dark stalks seem a bit weird
