I want to mount my EVSE on the pictured location. However, I don't want to fix it to the pole. I want it to be removable because I want to have the EVSE hanging there only when charging. After charged, I will store the EVSE back in the storage compartment in the Prime.

I am looking for some sort of cradle where the EVSE can be just be placed in it. I don't want to hang it by the cables.

Any ideas? I've been looking all over and all I can find are hooks to hang the cable.

I may consider the eyeholes if I can't find anything else. Basically, a couple of tiny hooks on the pole and the EVSE will just hang there. Velcro will come off quickly with the weather.

Yes.... there is a 4x4 treated beam inside.

While searching images online, I came across this picture. I've seen something similar at Home Depot or Lowes. I may pay a visit tomorrow to see what I can find. Of course, my version of this will have to have the hooks closer to each other because it needs to go vertical.

If the post is substantial enough, I’d use a couple of heavy duty tool hooks;).

They are very cost effective at Harbor Freight and would lead to easy install and removal of the plug as needed(y).

hmmmm.... now that I think about it, the hooks won't support the brick from the sides, only from the bottom and it may not be stable. I may have to have something 3D printed at work.

Heres the one is use for the base to cradle the brick:

    Heavy Duty Tool Hook

Then something like this for the above brick to hold it back:

    Heavy Duty Utility Hook

If search a bit more, but that would work and allow for flexibility (y).

    Those would work;).

And cheap enough that if you don’t like the result, that won’t be a mental barrier for living with it(y).
