Hi everyone. Just bought our first, new, Prius C. I'm looking for a cooler that can fit in the cargo space only, since I have two littles in car seats. I know much more fits with the back seats down or on the seats, but we don't always have that option, especially if we are going on a family trip. Is a 40qt too much? Or just right? Any one whose had any experience with it, please let me know!

And this car seriously rules. :)

You can go pretty tall on the cooler. I have a 40qt that fits fine, but I have to remove the cover. If you can find a short and wide cooler, you should have no problem.

This is the cooler I have, it's very compact (collapsible) and matches my C =) We've brought it along on road trips from NV to WI. Love it. I always keep it on the back seat so we can get at the drinks and snacks while on the highway. I'm sure it would fit no problem in the trunk too. Just put a towel under it if on the back seat, incase it were to leak, the hybrid batteries are under that seat.
