Coolant Heat Reserve Tank Issue/Question

Why are you running the coolant heat storage tank pump Why would you do that I don't understand that at all You got enough cooling in that you can get the coolant heat storage tank pump to run and pump it all back to your funnel so don't do that fill it up and fill it now take the silly funnel out of the filler neck and pour your coolant slowly into the filler neck You want to fill it all the way up until it's right at the top ridge of the filler neck ready to almost dump into the little hole for the reservoir tube and then just wait a second you'll watch it go blub blub blub and the water vanishes now you pour it in again all the way up to the top blah blah blah the water falls down and you can't see it You feel it back up again yeah I know it's irritating eventually about a quart will go by and you'll get it to stand at the top of the filler neck where you been putting it all this time and it'll stay there for 20 minutes or not move at all you'll get tired now you're full bring the level up until it dumps into the reservoir and put the cap on it Make sure the reservoir is full to that bottom X of plastic You can see pink when you're looking in the hole Cap that bad boy up now go for a drive You are full you are good to go You don't need to be doing no pumping I promise I just do this all the time there's no speeding up the process really unless you have one of those silly things connected up that does this but I don't see the point in that I mean unless you doing this in a professional setting in or in a super amount of limited time now I have no use for that tool. Generally it takes me about 5 minutes to fill the Prius after it's emptied I can't complain about that and no I'm not refilling it up burping air bubbles the next day or the next 3 days none of that nonsense ever so far so it must be working If not everything would be overheating and I'd be blowing up engines or something.

 

A special feature of the system with a thermos is also the three-way valve.
If it does not allow coolant to circulate freely, the air lock will force the coolant back when the pump is turned off.

 

Pretty much did but no matter Just don't run the coolant pump there's no need to do that If you look at the circuit which is posted here about every other week of the coolant diagram of this particular model that's it Don't run the coolant pump shit won't be jumping out of the funnel You don't want stuff jumping out of the funnel that's the wrong direction right? He want stuff dropping down the funnel going into the radiator into the cooling system now you're starting to pump with the cap off and blowing it all back out Cool yep that doesn't answer my question I guess not but anyway I'm not trying to be smart but I mean pretty much you don't run the run the pump forcing coolant back the way you're trying to install it right yeah I think But anyway maybe Max help you out You don't want to be pumping inside the car when you're outside the car trying to fill the vessel you're pumping out makes sense try that at home with like the swimming pool nothing will come squirting out but nothing will ever fill up either in the pool scenario.
