converting over to a gen2 battery?

    Spent the last couple of weeks trying to revive some cels out of a battery I had from another wrecked 02 prius I purchased for parts, No luck...Whats invovled using cels out of a 08 prius? Thanks Mark

    You will need 38 modules so you will need access to two 2G battery assemblies which collectively contain 56 modules. The 2G modules have a slightly different form factor so you may find the traction battery case lid will fit tightly. Also the module terminals are at a slightly different height so you cannot mix Classic and 2G modules and expect the orange plastic busbars to fit the mix.

    Thanks for the info.. Did not know the 2G battery had only 28 modules...I had a line on one 2G battery, not enough modules to do the job.
