    All,

Car started making creaking noises over bumps and all. It is clearly a rubber part squeaking sound. Checked the suspension and found that it is the control arm bushing. So far no driving issues, just this creaking noise.Thought of replacing just the bushings, but seems they are not available. So have to replace the whole arm. Also the sway bar link rubber part is broken. So have to replace that also.

OEM is $147 each without the ball joint. 48068-47040 - Lower Control Arm 2004-2009 Toyota Prius | Longo Toyota Of Prosper Parts. Total would be ~$300 which excludes the ball joint and sway bar links.

MevoTech is $53 - More Information for MEVOTECH CMS861129
along with sway bar link $13 which is broken -> More Information for MEVOTECH GK80230 . Total would be ~$130

TRQ - $132 (arms and sway bar links) - 2009 Toyota Prius Front 6 Piece Suspension Kit TRQ PSA63579

Did any one tried MevoTech or TRQ? I had bad experience with Moog on my bmw and don't want to try that.

To be honest I don't see how you're going to screw up a lower control arm selling it You don't make it You're just refurbing it and whatever and reselling it generally how you would mess that up would be pretty good I guess you'd have to like be purposely trying to do that and for what reason so you can have claims made against parts you're selling against your company just because I have to ask myself questions like this when some of these manufacturers seeming to be doing stuff like this just because really strange stuff but I bought cheap lower control arms for other vehicles Toyotas what have you from other remanufacturers like A1 cardone and whoever and generally have never had a problem I cannot believe that the Prius lower control arms would be anything any kind of special at all in this world but hey you can make it as much of a thing as you like everybody says the TRQ bearings aren't worth the crap I've got some in with over 100,000 miles with no problems for $49 they're fine for me versus 250 for the real supposedly non-fake parts today yeah I guess so $300 a pop.

Thanks.. I guess i will try the TRQ. Genuine Toyota with all parts i needed comes to $471 excluding the ball joints and with it, it will be $603. TRQ with ball joints is $132. $470 difference.

Poly bushings are available. But they are close to $100 and it makes handling stiff. Tried it on 2 cars (Bmw z3 and Honda Odyssey).
