I know there's been a lot written about it but I can't locate threads on removing the console on an 06. It ate my parking pass and I need to get into it's bowels to retrieve it. Can someone direct me or link me to the correct "how to's" Thanks!

If it's near the front by the upper cupholders and the little
drawer opening, that whole front bezel top to bottom just pulls
away toward the dash. That opens up a lot of it. You may have
to take the little drawer out first; its side edges squeeze
together to release. [I'm mumbling this from possibly cloudy
memory, I haven't done this in a while..]

No need to remove the draw, push the draw right in, then remove the front of the console by pulling to the front and up.

If you need to remove the console, there are only four screws you have to take out. Two on each side along the bottom. Be careful, there are cables at the front holding the console to the floor. If you just want to look under, you can tip it forward after removing the screws. If you want to remove it, you must release the connectors on the cables. It's tight, but doable. I released the console and tipped it forward without removing a seat. I think Toyota instructs to remove a seat first.
