    It is interesting that the sponsor of the bill is a Michigan Republican.

    As one of the comments on GCC mentioned, it seems interesting that this is coming out of Michigan. Makes you wonder if at least one of the Big 3 is gonna have something soon. I'm hoping that this reinforces GM's claim that the Volt isn't vaporware. One can only hope, right?

    Lots of bills get sponsored. There are many ways it can go nowhere. At least he's trying and has his soundbite for the next election. However, it will be funny when Toyota has the first vehicles to qualify. :p
