    Hi everyone. Been awhile here.
I have a Prius 2005, from a friend of mine, that keeps stalling when driving within a short time, or when left idling for sometime, it just stalls.

All the fuses at the hood, and driver knee area, were checked and looked good.

    Retrieved a P0a08 with this subcode 101.
I have checked everywhere online, for it's interpretations, but to no avail.
From my experience working on hybrid vehicles, I understand that a p0a08 means replace hybrid pack blabla.

But in this case, the interpretation of the code I got from the scantool, meant that the p0a08/101 means DCDC CONVERTER STATUS.

What exactly does this means, and has anyone has had this experience before?

    Regards,
    Dxta

Keep in mind the above link is for an altima, which has a HV battery similar to the camry. That battery model has a few more electronics in the case than the prius and the battery cooling fan takes care of them.

Without having references nearby, I would imagine the P0A08-101 for a Prius still deals with a temperature issue on the DC/DC converter, which is in the under hood inverter.
