I have a 1st gen 2003 prius with a completely drained hybrid battery and the engine will not start. Any Ideas on how to get any type of charge to it. It can only be towed.

Unless you have a grid charger, there's no way. Hybrid Automotive sells one, you would need to install their pigtail and then you could hook it up. $439. I would suspect that the battery is failed, tho.

If you can invest in a tow, I'd suggest taking it to an independent hybrid shop and have them diagnose and charge the battery. The battery didn't go dead on it's own did it? Been sitting dead for a while? I guess I'd be prepared for the worst news. Sorry.
