Instant familiarity! Don't know about previous years, but the 2019 Rav4 hybrid felt like an old friend the very first time I drove it. Much of the technology looks and feels just the same, with controls just where a Prius driver would expect them. The transition was mostly seamless.

This is my first SUV/CUV. I fought the trend as long as I could, but 40 mpg was hard to pass up. The Rav will be our primary long-distance travel vehicle (more comfort, better visibility) with the Prius (the mpg champ) taking on the role of the 'round towner.

    Loving both!

I am a big fan of the 2019 Rav4 Hybrid. Why?
    • It just looks so damn sexy!
    • 40mpg in an SUV? Forget about the big 3 trying to copy that!
    • The room it has inside, I really miss this type of room when driving the family on long trips
    • Its a Toyota!
    • Did I say I like the way it looks?

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That styling does nothing for me. However, I rarely buy cars based on how they look. I spend all my time inside them and don't see the outside that much.
