How do I shut off the cold temp warning in my 2005. I live in Wi and the temp will NOT be going above 37 F for a long time now. Do I have to put up with that light until April?
Also, at night the blinker light on the dash is so bright that it reflect off the windshield and negatively affect my road vision. Can the light be adjusted?

Yup, you're stuck with the cold temp indicator...you can put a piece of black electrical tape over it if it really bothers you. To me it just becomes part of the screen and not a distraction at all after a couple of days.

You can adjust the dimmer control so that dash lights aren't as bright and that should help your problem. Many people have reported the green glow of the speedometer on the windshield through the crack/seam in the dash, but it usually goes away or becomes less noticable by dimming the dash lights a little.

I used to have this problem till i gave my windshield a nice cleaning with invisible glass. It's a product that you can buy on the moreshine.com webpage. After cleaning my windshield a few times, the interior "film" layer has gone away. Not much reflects anymore.

The other "problem" is that the speedometer and such is a projection. You look at a mirror which points down at your dash. So i noticed a green glow on my windshield before.

Is the cold weather indicator somehow brighter th an the rest of the screen. I noticed it right away when it it turned on here. I was driving and it seemed rather bright. Maybe it's the yellow snowflake that caught my attention. I didn't make the snow yellow.. i swear... it came that way. :)

Darn! I was hoping one of you smart people would know how to get rid of the cold temp warning. Electrical tape is one solution that will work. Thanks Efusco.

The blinker dows not respond to the dim switch. That is a separate circuit. But I will try the glass stuff - thanks v8corbakid.

Thanks! Looks good to me. I just ordered some of the stuff and, if it works anything as claimed, I'll be absolutely overjoyed.

By the looks of that picture, Stoner products produce the same results they did when I was a kid in the 70's.
Had a blaze party in the back seat and got so wasted you couldn’t clean up afterwards????
I especially like the “Stoner†pizza box.
In my days, we didn’t have companies that would overtly advertise to the munchies crowd.
I’ll have to try their products . . . but save the little baggy for later when I can sit on the lawn and appreciate my shiny car . . . and ponder the color of the sky . . . and why trees do what trees do. :silly:

hehe.. flash backs? but no. that's the name of the company.. lol.. stoner car products.. the box is full of my cleaning products... plus.. i wouldn't abuse my car with smoke. I had to clean my old car from a previous owner who smoked. I would wish that cleaning task upon no one.. plus it destroys the head liner and every other fabric in the car. My car still smells new :)

I got the Invisible Glass stuff a few days ago and the stuff indeed does work as advertised, IMHO. Two applications and the film on the inside of my windshield is gone.

Where do you get the decals on the side? They look really great and I would like to get a pair.
