The more I see people getting rid of the green interior dash lighting, the more I hope Toyota follows suit for whatever year they do the 'mid life re-freshening" (probably 2012).

    Looks great!

Yeah Mark, but not gonna happen. Since when was the last time a car company was that creative?

Nice. I would love the swap the green lights for white or amber lights but I don't have the skills to do it (esp. the steering wheel)

Toyota did offer a tri-colour Optitron gauge set on the 9th Gen Corolla in some countries. You could choose white, blue or amber with red needles. We only got the white Optitron gauges in North America (LE models)

I had a 2000 Chrysler 300M and loved those indiglo gauges back then. Chrysler did a nice job with the new lighting for the interior on the new 300. Not the blue analog gauges, but the rest of the white/blue dash lights would be nice stock on the Prius instead of that Green:

I'm not crazy about this new interior itself, but I do like the white-ish/blue-ish lighting.

And while we're at it, how about a bigger and higher resolution screen for the nav? lol

Well, they already have it readily available in their Lexus lineup... can't be that difficult to transition to the Prius:

Back to topic. Great job DM! I'm really debating changing the interior lights to white, but then I would like the MFD gauges to change to white as well to match... otherwise it's a no-go for me.

I drove a couple of rentals that had blue backlighting and found the color difficult to focus on and much 'brighter' than green. The blue lights your face up really well at night! (not sure if that's a good or bad thing)
