My 2008 has developed a creaking or clicking noise in the right front. It seems unrelated to direction of movement or braking or acceleration. The noise happens at low speed OR when parked with the steering wheel turned to either extreme. Creaking happens mostly when the steering wheel is within half a turn of either stop but is unaffected when shifting between park, drive, or reverse.
Well over time lower control arm bushings and things like that tend to get dried out to say the least they are rubber they are not polyurethane or any heavy material that one would put on as aftermarket they are on the side of softness and comfort sometimes you can spray these areas with pick your poison white lithium grease something maybe that penetrates better what have you a little lubrication many times will go a very long way it reducing squeaks and these kind of front end noises usually more common on trucks with upper and lower A arms and that sort of thing but it does happen here struts springs pieces of rubber fitted around the strut rod all of those things can possibly squeak when they get old dried out and start to rip and tear.
