Clicking noise - Withdrawn T-SB-0157-18?

I have about 31k miles on my 2017 Prius Prime.
For some time now I have noticed a clicking sound upon deceleration. Not loud, not too concerning, but definitely noticeable.
I thought that it was probably the front pads or calipers not really being used during easy stops that rely on regen braking. It seemed plausible that the pads were not under pressure and could be loose enough to maybe rattle against the rotors.

I just reviewed every article that I could find about this symptom and I now think that it is the LH front drive shaft assembly as addressed by T-SB-0157-18 which has been withdrawn by Toyota. I never heard of a T-SB being withdrawn, but... And they seemed to withdraw it pretty quickly after issuing it.

So I would like to know more about this so that I can go into the dealership properly informed.
The 5 yr, 50 k mile powertrain warranty is no longer in effect.
I did purchase the Toyota factory extended warranty for an additional 7 years which hopefully will cover this repair.

    So, my questions:
Obviously any abnormal noise is a concern, but how serious is this?

When they do this repair, does the transaxle fluid need to be replaced or topped off?

    Will an alignment be necessary?

Should the warranty cover either or both of these additional procedures?

Is there anything else that I should be aware of or concerned about?

    Thanks,
